According to the government notification issued, distribution of Rs 1500 assistance will be done at Post offices for all those without the Aadhar linkage to their bank accounts
Hyderabad: The Minister for Backward Classes Welfare and Civil Supplies Gangula Kamalakar issued guidelines for those beneficiaries who had no linkage of Aadhar with their bank accounts to receive Rs 1500 declared by the Chief Minister.
The instructions were meant for all districts except Khammam and Bhadradri-Kothagudem.
According to the government notification issued here on Saturday, distribution of Rs 1500 assistance will be done at Post offices for all those without the Aadhar linkage to their bank accounts.
The government has made arrangements for the distribution of cash to 5.21 lakh Ration card holders through Post Offices. So far 52,000 beneficiaries have taken the amount from Post Offices.
White card holders can take cash from designated post offices in GHMC , Karimnagar and Warangal corporation areas, irrespective of the district they belong to. There are 24 such designated Post Offices in GHMC area. The list of the beneficiaries and the allocated Post Office are available with the Fair Price shops.
The government made it clear that only the person whose name is mentioned in the ration card will be allowed to withdraw the sanctioned sum. He or she has to carry the card and the Aadhar for recognition.
